Audrey was born in dell Road, Grays and moved with her family of 5 children to Salisbury Rd Grays when she was two. Two more children came along after a sister and brother. She attended the local schools with brothers and sisters. After leaving school she worked in Woolworths until War came along. She then served as a bus conductress. She married Jack Bandick in 1956 whom she met whilst working at Shell. They had one daughter Denise who was born with Cerebral Palsy. In 2007 Audrey had a stroke which left her with Dementia later Altzheimers.
