Mum sadly passed away in Knowle Hill Care Home, Beighton on 22nd February 2024 after a few weeks of deteriorating health. Prior to this she had enjoyed 15 months of being cared for and well looked after in the care home and enjoyed the companionship and activities there. She moved there after living alone in her sheltered bungalow when she was no longer able to look after herself due to mobility and sight problems. Mum leaves behind, children, grandchildren, a great grandchild and great-great grandchildren and was the last of her generation on both sides of the family. She was a supporter of St. Luke's over the years and was able to benefit from end of life care provided by St Luke's at the Care Home.

We shall miss our Auntie Mary but were lucky to have her for so long. She was such a happy person and always fun to be with. Although her Niece, Janet felt as close to her as she did to her own Mum.
