I have set up this tribute fund to honour my Mum, Sheila Ann Hall, who passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospice on the 23rd June 2014. Mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2009. Following the news, she was determined to make the most of every day. She had a phrase "The cancer lives with me, I don't live with it!" Her positive mental attitude, along with her smile and laugh were contagious. Wherever she went she made lifelong friends. She always looked on the positive side of life, to Mum her glass (often Martini or Pink Champagne) was always half full, never half empty. She loved her family, especially her Cats, my Dad Eric, Brother Tony, Partner Mike, Rosie and all her friends. She enjoyed going on cruises all over the world with Dad. Firmly believed in retail therapy, going to parties and having lunch with the girls! but most importantly she never stopped smiling and laughing!. She loved to go to Spain - our Villa was her second home, she spent hours chatting to our Labradors Buddy and Rosie and our cats. Mum lived life to the full; often amazing everyone she met with her sheer determination and strength of character. My family and I are very proud of her and know that she will always be watching over us, guiding us and laughing with us! Mums medical team at Weston Park Hospital and St. Luke's were amazing until the very end. As were all her family and friends. Thank you to you all, for all your support and for everything you did. Please help me to make this page special in Mums memory and take a few minutes to post and share some of your favorite memories, a picture, or a few words about Mum. Thank you

Sheila was one of those rare people who smiled and laughed her way through her illness, never letting it get her, or those around her, down. She will be sadly missed by all of us, but will forever remain in our hearts as a lady of true courage. Judi & L

    Thoughts

Happy 75th Birthday Mum. I posted some great pics of you today on Facebook, you had an amazing response over 40 people posted comments and there still coming in! I know you've been around a lot recently, especially on the 17th March when we got married and today. So in "our own unique- true style" I'm opening some pink champagne, standing on the terrace, looking up at the stars and wishing you a happy 75th. Miss you, love always Tx

My Darling Sheila Today would have been an event in our lives – 52 years together. I dearly miss the touch, smile, laughter, charm and wit that we shared throughout our lives. You always liked humour, so I told you this story †3 weeks ago a smart young man came to the door selling tickets for a weekly raffle for St. Luke's, I agreed to purchase a ticket for 1 pound per week. All of a sudden, a voice came into my head “ you miserable sod – WE agreed to support St. Luke's!†“Pull your finger out lad, buy 2 tickets†This put a smile on my face Happy Anniversary Darling All my love Eric x x x and Mikey x x

There are no true words to express the pain and loss we feel...but we are quite sure the Heaven received a special Angel. the more we grow, think, memorise and reflect the more we realize that you were the best best friend that we ever had. So close to us even when you were away. We use to crack jokes, have fun in gardening, always get the most professional advise... You´ve left a gap that will always be there in our lives. Why did you have to go !!! Lots of love from Stellah and Maurice. xxxx
