A great friend and colleague. You will be sorely missed by all the team at Warehouse One

Thoughts

What a legend you were Nigel and we had the pleasure of working with you. You never failed to make us laugh with your witty one liners and banter. We were a customer of yours but it felt more like we were friends, you had a strong work ethic which was admirable and your personable approach got you far. We are so sorry to have lost such a great colleague and friend, we will miss you dearly as will everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. We’ll remember you Nigel in many positive ways, with a big smile and a great sense of humour, always with a great story. Thank you for all the support you gave us. From all your friends at Mark Harris Furniture.

Uncle Nigel, I can’t really comprehend that you aren’t here anymore, it just doesn’t seem real, this shouldn’t be happening and you should still be with us, with your silly jokes and fantastic sense of humour. Remember all the banter we had about our football teams, I would always have the last laugh because we would always beat Liverpool but not now, the dominance is well and truly in Liverpool’s favour and they are doing you proud....you won’t hear a Gooner say this very often but I’m willing Liverpool to win the Premier League just for you. What can I say this cruel, unfair world has taken yet another amazing person far too soon. I keep looking at your pictures and I must say you are so much like grandad....now you are with grandad and nanna and you are not suffering anymore. Keep smiling, keep telling your seriously bad jokes and keep laughing. Watch over Auntie Linda and give her the strength she needs when she is struggling and feeling down. Saying goodbye makes this all so real so I don’t want to say goodbye. RIP Uncle Nigel, you are forever in my heart and thoughts xx

What to say Uncle N...... you’ve been a huge part of my life and helped me grow into the person I have become today. I will remember your big nose, your sense on humour, your kindness, your generosity, your wise and not so wise words after a few beers, the times we stopped up all night listening to Rod Stuart and drinking. (My very first drinking partner you were) I will miss your random phone calls and txts out of the blue, and hearing about all your adventures with Aunt L on all of your holidays you loved so much. I will miss your bad jokes and the love you showed every time I saw or heard from you.... The last few months have been unbelievable and I can’t believe you’ve been taken so soon.... you were to young and had so much more to give to all of the people around you. You had a way of making a lasting impression on everyone you met. I’m not ready to say goodbye to you .... therefore I won’t.... just know how thankful I am to have shared so many memories with you and thank you for all of your love and support over the years..... I love you. Xx

I always heard you before I saw you as you were always singing something, I will miss our little chats as we put the world to rights over a coffee in my office, you were a work colleague who soon turned into a friend who always put others before yourself, even as you were in hospital you still asked about my health. You were taken far too soon and will be sadly missed by all who knew you. "You'll Never Walk Alone"

Still can't believe that we aren't going to hear you coming through the office door singing your George Ezra songs, keep singing Nigel, no more riding shotgun because you should now be in paradise, you know my football allegiances, but just for once I will say this, you'll never walk alone, sleep well my friend, you will be missed by everyone

Where to start...Nigel was for sure one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet, when ever I was at Warehouse One he would always take the time to come and say hello, he was professional, maticulous and I know for sure he will be greatly missed not only by his family but certainly his other family at Warehouse One. RIP my friend.

Nigel it was a privilege to have known you and have you as a son in law it’s so sad your innings ended so tragically and far too soon but you will never be forgotten The memory that will be with us forever is when you and Linda made that visit to us in Portugal and we spent many hours walking around Alvor What happened to the team last night I hope you haven’t thrown that shirt away in despair I still you and Peter Thompson gave them a right good rollicking We look forward to better things for everyone Love Anne & Derek

You made a big impact on anyone that knew you. You were full of life, fun and love, always ready to crack a joke or drop a one liner. We met 38 years ago and had been married for 32. You were taken from me too early we had dreams, plans for our future together. I promise that I will eventually fulfill them. ILUWAMH Miss you babe. Your are my soul mate Close together or far apart, your forever in my heart xx
