We have created this tribute fund in honour of our mum, Nuala Wall, who passed away peacefully at St Luke’s hospice on the 19th of March 2025.
For anyone that knew our mum, you know she hated fuss or being the centre of attention, which is why she didn’t want a funeral and instead of sending flowers she wanted to donate money in her name to the people that cared for her in her final days. Our mum was so kind hearted and worked with almost every charity in Sheffield. The only thing she loved more than helping others was her family, so it is only fitting that we raise money in her memory. St Luke’s hospice was absolutely incredible to our mum and our whole family in her final days. We will never forget the kindness and care we were all treated with and are incredibly grateful mum was able to pass away comfortably and peacefully thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors. With donations in memory of our mum we hope to help other families receive the care we did.

Nuala has been a wonderful friend and neighbour since 1988. We've spent many times talking and gossiping, whilst putting the world to rights. We've marched and protested together, her social conscious being just one of the things that made Nuala such a special person. She has been there for me so many times and knowing she's only 3 doors down has always made living here extra special. I'm going to miss her terribly. A truly amazing woman. Dear Nuala, such wonderful fun memories of when you worked at St Vincent’s when I was manager. Your enthusiasm was infectious and although most of your suggestions and ideas were generally crazy and undoable they were always well-intentioned and came from the heart. You made me laugh so much and were always so generous and giving. You will be sorely missed. RIP Nuala. A one-off, never to be forgotten. xx

Sleep tight Aunty Nuala. You were to me eccentric, unique and wonderful in the most amazing sense possible. My camping trips to Edale with you are something I remember vividly from my childhood and cherish to this day. Thanks for been an amazing Aunty and a amazing sister and friend to my Mum Teresa who already misses you so very dearly.
