A tribute to our wonderful mother, Sheila, who passed away peacefully at St Luke's following a brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer. We decided to create this page so all her many friends and family members could have the opportunity to share their thoughts (and hopefully photo’s!) of this amazing lady. The care and love our mum received from all the staff at this truly inspirational place was quite humbling. They even arranged an 18th birthday party for her grandson, including a lovely homemade cake, a few days before she passed away. We appreciate time are very hard right now, however if you could provide a small donation to help St Luke's continue their incredible work, the family would be extremely grateful.

In loving memory of Shelia. She was secretary for the Sheffield United Senior Blades for many years. a Charity Raffle was held and all the proceeds donated to St Luke's. Sheila received wonderful care and support and we are so grateful to be making this donation.

We first got to know Sheila when our children started play school. Along with David she became a firm friend for over 50 years, through all the activities we were involved in. In particular, we have special memories of the walking weekend in Germany in 2006 that we had with Dorothy and Les Firth to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversaries. We will miss her so much. Sheila was a lovely, kind and witty person. I will remember Christmas's with her and David and also on her own - my mum and her became very close after David passed and our Dad - comfort for one another. She will be very sadly missed. My condolences to all the family but I understand she was very well cared for and looked after at St Luke's so my thanks.

Goodbye to a kind and generous Sister in Law. There are so many memories of good times with David and Sheila and latterly with Sheila after we lost David. I miss David ‘s laughter and the loss of Sheila so soon afterwards is tough but the memories remain.Can I add to the praise of St.Luke’s and their staff.On my short visits to see the Love and Care provided is uplifting in difficult circumstances. I am sure we will all give generously . Finally a word for Mark and Chris who have been brilliant. God Bless Sheila.Rest in Peace.
