Pamela Richardson (Czabaniuk Hodgkins)
1961 - 2017 | Sheffield
Pam was a larger than life character, immensely proud of her family and had a big heart that was always looking to help others. Pam was always looking for an opportunity to have some fun, always looking for a reaction to spark something funny out of any situation. Pam loved her job working within the IC Unit at the North General for the NHS, her role was as House Keeper, caring for her patients and colleagues alike. Pams spell at St Luke's was at a very difficult time of her life but she always tried to keep her wicked sense of humour, still wanting to care and help others. The first class facilities at St Luke's enabled her too enjoy the crafts room, the Chapel and to also have her little dog Ted with her who she idolised.Pam also liked the fact that she could sneak off for a crafty ciggie if she could find someone to push her! Along with the top rate care that she received from all the staff, Chaplain Mike was a great comfort to Pam, she loved their little chats. She managed to deplete Mike's stock of Bibles and Crosses in one sitting! We think that they would have made quite a good double act. We also believe that Pam will crop up in quite a few of Mike's sermons as she was such a character! Pam was a beautiful soul with such an amazing spirit. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

To my dear Auntie Pam...wow what a service you planned today! The best bit - it was you all the way through, lots of funny stories, of course I have lots of my own, I am so pleased I have these memories of you to treasure. My mum adored you, I take a lot from knowing that you are probably up there together. Your bravery, fight and determination will always inspire me. I have added a picture from your last big road trip to Cleethorpes, that was such a lovely evening one that I will treasure in my heart forever. Thank you for everything all my love Jo xxxxx
