Barry and Jocelyn are very grateful for the support received during Barry’s illness. Despite everything he would still always declare “I’m fine”. Everyone involved in his care was courteous and patient, cheerful and understanding, and responded to his banter with humour and encouragement. Barry was always so full of life raising laughter and smiles with everyone he met across the years. His family, friends and neighbours will treasure memories of the happy times shared. He will be greatly missed.

Barry was an amazing friend over the years; kind, thoughtful and always cheerful. You always felt better when you'd talked to him and he invariably made you laugh. I shall miss his presence greatly.
