Beloved husband of Flo who passed away after a short battle with the disease on 1st March 2018. George worked for 43 years for Hepworth's, the manufacturing plant which started out life as Worksop Refractories. George was an avid train spotter and Elvis Presley fan. Most of all, George loved his karaoke, singing Elvis songs every week at the Holly Bush Inn, Rivelin and latterly at The Railway Inn. With Florence, George also spent many happy holidays in Ingoldmells, a place they both loved a great deal.

George, thank you for all the songs. You brightened many of our Sunday evenings with your great passion for singing. You'll never walk alone my friend. R.I.P xx
