The money this month is from one of my makers Mums who made 65 cute little crochet pumpkins and we sold them in the shop for St Luke’s. It’s nice to feel like I’m doing something for you, even if it’s not what I would like to be doing, which is choosing your birthday and Christmas presents. Lots of Christmas stuff is coming into the shop and I keep thinking about what you would like. The first half term of this year is just finishing, Lucy is loving school but absolutely shattered as you would expect, she’s so clever, you would have loved to hear her reading. Alfred is struggling a bit but we are working on it, wish I had you here for advice. They both talk about you all the time. We all miss you ❤️

Annie Jude’s August Donation. Sorry it’s taken me a while to send this one Mum. To be honest I’ve been so sad the last few weeks and missing you so much, the realisation you are never coming back has hit hard. Lucy started school. I wanted you to see her so much it hurt. She looks so grown up in her uniform and you would have been proud. Alfred is in Y5 now and getting so tall. He has been dreaming about you a lot. Baby Frankie arrived safely, he is just lovely, Grace is doing so well, I’m really impressed by her. I just wish you were here to see it all. I miss you so much.

Annie Jude’s July Donation. Summer time now Mum and it’s soo hot, we had the hottest day ever on record this year. We’ve just gotten back from Bulgaria, we had a lovely family trip but it made me think a lot about you and how few places you had been, I wish I had taken you to more. I couldn’t find you any rock. The kids are both tanned and fair haired from the sun. They’ve changed so so much since you last saw them, that hurts. We talked about the last holiday we went on with you to the caravan. They both miss you. Things are still going well with the shop and I’m excited for the build up to Christmas. I miss you more than I can possibly describe. Love you Mum x

Annie Jude’s June Donation. Another small one this month Mum but I don’t think you’ll mind as I did a donation to school at the open day. The first one I’ve been to without you and it made me cry during the singing to look around and not see you smiling in the crowd. You would have loved it though Mum, all your Grandchildren were there, Jonah, Alfred, Poppy, Heidi, Ezra, Lucy, Felix, Robyn and Elias. I know you would have liked seeing them all playing together. Graces baby, Frankie, will be here soon. Before you left you said to me how much you would have liked to see Grace pregnant and as a Mum, hard to imagine but she is doing so well :) it suits her being pregnant. She looks beautiful. Lucy is starting school in September and she can’t wait, we had her end of nursery report through and it was so good, I wanted to show it to you. Me, Alfred and Lucy talk about you every day Mum. We all miss you. X

A smaller donation for May Mum, I gave some of the money towards a little boy named Jude who needs money for his cancer treatment. He’s the same age as Lucy. I thought you would like that. We celebrated 6 months of the shop being open yesterday. Wish you could have been there with a big smile on your face. The kids were running about helping with the drinks, I’m sure they would have argued about who got to bring grandma hers. We raised lots of money for Jude at the event too. Miss you as much today as the day you left. Xxx
