My dearest Mum finally lost her battle on Tuesday 12th January but not without a long fought fight. She was one of the strongest and bravest people I have ever know and I was lucky enough to call her my Mum. She was a brilliant and loved wife that my Dad was lucky enough to have by his side. The love, care and support that St Lukes have shown us through this difficult period is invaluable and we will be forever grateful for this. My mum always loved her days spent at St Lukes and they gave her a second lease of life with something to look forward to and getting to meet new people, both staff members and other patients. I hope by setting up this page that my Mum's legacy will allow other patients this incredible opportunity and experience and continue to allow families and friends to have the support they need through these difficult times.

I met Julie when Tom and Phil joined Brentwood tennis club many years ago now. She was so proud of Tom and always there supporting him in matches (many of which I was lucky enough to partner him in). She was always cheerful despite everything and Terry and I would like to send all our love and thoughts to Tom and Phil.
