Marie Hart nee Monfredi sadly passed away on Wednesday 27 June 2018 after bravely battling cancer. She passed away peacefully at Northern General Hospital. Marie was wife to Les, a mum to Christopher, David and Anthony, and a Grandmother to Kate, Matthew, Beau, Tyler and Chloe as well as being Great Grandmother to Leah, Rihanna and Daniel. She is also survived by her younger brother Stephen Monfredi. For anyone that knew Marie they would know of her zest for life and her humour, compassion and wit. She worked hard all her life to provide for her family and in her later years led a pretty full on time with Les in their adventures and travels. There are many tales you could tell about Marie, but one thing you can guarantee, they would make you laugh! She will be sadly missed but remembered for being the vibrant and rambunctious lady she was! The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the brilliant, caring and thoughtful staff at the Northern General and St Lukes, for the compassion they showed to Marie throughout her illness and in her final days! Thank you so much!

Very sad news, can't believe we won't be hearing your laugh anymore but we do have our great memories of you, always up for some fun. I remember the family holidays we had in Blackpool, how did we all fit in that flat. You and Mum sneaking us out of school early, the five of us all with dentist appointments! We will miss you, but you will always be in our thoughts, Rest in Peace.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Known you Marie. You had a heart of Gold and would help out wherever and whenever you could. Your larger than life personality and fantastic sense of fun made you an absolute joy to be around ( unless you were giving someone a piece of your mind, then I would hide). You will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Rest in peace.
