Mary became poorly in November 2020, and she was from a generation that battled on, and that’s exactly what she did, until it became necessary for her to be looked after in St Luke’s, and it was here that she passed away peacefully on the 9th February, surrounded by the love of her family leaving her in no doubt as to just how much she was loved and cherished. As we can't have a 'proper' funeral or wake we have created this page where we can share memories, stories and pay tribute to Mary. St Luke's gave absolutely amazing care to Mary in her last days as well as looking after family who were visiting and staying with Mary - if you can donate, please do!
