Dad (Ted) very sadly passed away at home, surrounded by his family on the 7th of May 2020. During Ted's, final few weeks he was a patient at St Luke's Hospice, shortly before Ted passed away he returned home where he passed away peacefully. The care received from St Luke was fantastic, as a family, we could not have wished for a better place for Dad's care during such a difficult time. Ted was born on the 23rd of October 1946, was Son to Nellie and Ted, brother to Sylvia, and was a loving Husband to Sheila and father to Chris and Emma. Ted was also a fantastic Grandad to Lily & Maisy. Ted was a much-loved brother in law to Peter, Audrey, Sue, Mick, and Steve, Lillian, and loving uncle to Kerry, Debbie, Janet, Trevor, Wendy, Mike, Betty, and Liam. Ted grew up in the Woodthorpe Estate. He played many sports for the school i.e. Football, Cricket which he carried on with throughout his life. Ted was such and kind and generous man, we are all so proud to have known him, Ted helped so many people during his life, making so many close friends over the years. We all know in our hearts Ted would not want us to be sad, and we are sure we’ll meet again one day.
