Trevor lost his fight following a short illness with pancreatic cancer and spent his last few days in St Luke's. The care he received from every single member of staff was amazing, with the time and compassion given to him being second to none. He was a remarkable man, a loving husband, devoted father, a wise "poppa" and a friend to all. In his later years he did a lot of charitable work and was well respected in the organisation. He was a true inspiration and will be sadly missed. He will be forever in our hearts and although he has gone our memories will never fade.

This is a donation from the Russell and Robertson families. In recognition of all of the fun and confidence building that our children and grandchildren have benefited from as well as developing friendships all over the world. We even have a new member of our family from Italy resulting from your work for CISV. This is as much for wonderful Barbara as well as Trevor.

Words cannot express how much you will be missed, you played such a big part in our lives not only as a dad but as a grandad and we will never be able to fill that gap, but the memories we have will help. Thank you for devoting so much time to us and For just being you! A true inspiration, we will never forget, sending lots of love xx

Trevor was a wonderful husband and we spent 59 happy years together creating so many special memories I will cherish forever. I will miss him greatly.

    Thoughts

Trevor was an inspiration: the most selfless of men always helping others without any desire for personal recognition. A lovely friend for decades; we are all richer for having known him and will miss him deeply.
